Completely wrong. I've had a 200sx turbo for nearly 25 years and never floored it on public roads. That's dangerous, irresponsible, childish, and done by the moronically stupid. :mad: Everyone caught doing that should not only have their licence permanently removed, but their car also instantly...

^ Nobody was denying the shifting speed (at least for more modern automatics). The original statement was that an automatic is faster than a human at changing gears. That statement implies "automatic" means the car is changing the gears. But, my point has always been that ... Anyone planting...

There's a few days left. :) Realistically, Nissan Australia (or anywhere else) has zero control over the shipping times, port unloading times, etc. They can only 'best guess'.

True, the on-floor salesdroid does not set the price ... but the higher the price, the more commission they will get. Most of the markup of course does go into dealer management / owner pockets, who are the ones who set the price. Perhaps simply "store greed tax" is a more precise phrase.

Still no official word on the new Z here, but a local dealer has posted what they say are the local prices (there won't be a Sport model here)... 2023 Z Performance = US$53,200 + registration, etc. 2023 Z Proto = US$58,200 + registration, etc. Not sure if any of these prices include government...

Nope. F1 cars are semi-automatic. They've simply switched to flappy paddles and no clutch pushing (partly to save cockpit space and weight), but the driver is still in full control of which gear is used when. No race driver uses an automatic in automatic mode ... it's simply ludicrous to do so.
