Yeah, but at least it doesn't block your view like the massive rearview mirror base/plastic box on the windscreen - WTF? Nissan should have put those electronics somewhere else...
Move to Canada, it is here lol.
EDIT: I see you are in Toronto, so you were just misinformed - the auto is about $1500 more here than the manual, can't remember the exact figure.
If E-cars are as boring to drive IRL as they are in sims (and from my very limited experience so far they seem to be), regardless of how fast they are, I'll keep drinking the dino juice....
^ Odd that 2 Zs have rim shipping protection, 2 don't.
Gun Metallic looking great there! And the colour balance in the photo overall looks natural so it's not a distortion of the GM colour.
I wonder if a set of Pilot Sport A/S4s would be as grippy as the Bridgestones the Z ships with - Mark in the Savagegeese review that dropped today remarked that those Bridgestones were so low grip as to be analogous to the low-grip Primacies that came on the GT86 for years. For solely street...
Maybe not in terms of street amenities or brute power but to be within 2 seconds of the Z on that track with a car down about 150 hp is pretty amazing, even they say it's a purer driver's car. I wrote the above comment before watching, now I have I was quite struck by the race driver's positive...
Thought the GR86 was supposed to be in this comparo - maybe that will be a second review? I don't care about the Supra, it's priced out the wazoo here and its severely limited outward visibility would have it off my list anyways.
The Camaro is huge at 188" long vs 172" for the Z. It's nearly 200 lbs heavier. And the forward visibility is so limited I had to duck my head down to see the traffic light when I was stopped at intersections (and I'm no giant at 5'11+ "). Hard pass. Loved the engine sound though.
As I've reserved a Gun Metallic MT I guess I'm signed up for the cheapest option Performance available in Canada - no paint surcharge, no ~$1700 AT surcharge ( I know AT is n/c in US, not the case here).
