  5. Any Supra owners dumping their cars for the 2023 Nissan Z?

I planning keeping both (once I get the Z). The Z is replacing a 370. I quite like the A90, but have been a fan of Zs for a long time (have only owned two). now, if I’m blown away by the Z, this could change. I did check the market and was offered $4k more than I paid a year ago for the...
  6. Nissan Z Proto Clay Model

The title reminded me of an SNL skit.
  7. What's in the news today... (NO COVID / POLITICS)

The point is that the second shouldn’t have been second. It was lower on the list (4th or so). It was by virtue that other proposed amendments didn’t make it into the bill of rights that it is second.
  8. What's in the news today... (NO COVID / POLITICS)

Just to be clear, the US bill of rights borrowed heavily from the English bill of rights. Also, in its original form, the second amendment wasnt second (it was lower down on the list).

  16. Covid & Vaccines discussion

Respectfully, I’ll push back and say getting vaccinated protects far more than the person taking it. That’s actually a big part of the push. Again, the problem isn’t so much that people aren’t getting vaccinated. It’s that they aren’t getting vaccinated AND not taking appropriate measures to...
  17. Wait... is it $38k or $40k starting?

I think once the market stabilizes (which could be a while) loaded 3.0 Supras will be sub $50k again. If $40kish is really $41,999.99 or something like that for a spartan model, it could make it a more difficult choice. Particularly for those not buying a manual. I do enjoy the hell out of my...
  18. Where did everyone go to school? What was your major?

Biology, then biology, and then more biology. Virginia Tech for the last degree.
  19. Covid & Vaccines discussion

For many, politics has transcended mere policy preference and has now become tribalism and group identity. When that happens, we start adjusting our values to be in line with our in-group and that leads us to wrapping our facts around our beliefs rather than developing our beliefs from the facts...
