The oil used initially when building the car is a standard oil to help break in the engine. It is not recommended to use a synthetic prior to break-in period. After that I change my oil with a full synthetic every 3K miles. Having the oil changed at the dealership is very cost effective. ?
I don’t have any fish tailing problems. With all the bracing, top & bottom. Also I would recommend replacing the oil pan, and bottom Radiator hose connector. As they are plastic. Plus you get more oil capacity as well. My Z has a tremendous amount of power. Even with the pilots, it’s still hard...
Welcome Aboard, and Congratulations on your purchase. You will love this car! The only problem that I had, was having to wait for the break-in to be over. Lol
My recommendation is this! I’ve used an Escort Radar for years. The best radar detector bar none. The bundled Dash Cam is awesome as well! It only goes off when real threats are known. ?
I wish I could lower my Z. But living in the country prohibits doing this. If you ever drove over a skunk, or any dead critter. You definitely would think twice lol. The carcass rolls under the under carriage, and smears goo everywhere. ???. I’m happy you’re able to do this! ?
Love the support all of you give! The only silver lining in this, is that the shifter bar comes without the stock knob. As such, I will be able to put the Z1 shift knob on! ???
