If you are going to use the car for racing, there are people here that can give you good advice. For running it as a sports car on public roads, the Michelins or Contis would be considered ultra-high performance and should be good replacements. I like Continental for a little better wet road...
I got a quote for a set of Continental ExtremeContact Sport02s today; $1089.66 with tax. I know everyone loves Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's but I've had good luck Continentals. My only issue is waiting for the oem tires to wear out. I only have 2200 miles on them.
Fast cars go fast, fast!
Saturday morning about 20 minutes into an hour drive I decided to pass a car. Really no traffic to speak of except for this guy I'd caught up to and, sure, I could have just sat behind him and stayed at 50, but I wanted to let it out a little since the Z was warmed up...
Also, 1200 miles and still haven't seen another Z on the road! I saw 7 or 8 De Tomaso Panteras running down the highway near Manchester, New Hampshire yesterday and no Zees!

Coming down the other...
Wow, what a welcome! I think this will be fun! One thing though; is it just me or are there very few of these out there? As I said I've seen two registered Z's since 2023 in my area and one guy worked at the dealership and bought an unsold one off the truck when it was being dropped. I've seen...
Hi Folks,
My 70th birthday was last Friday, 8/29. I decided to have a midlife crisis and sell my Volvo C70 and get my last fun car. I had, when they were still calling it a 400 Z, read all the articles and thought for $40,000 it would be great to have a modern take on a car I'd always loved -...
