So the Nismo has a 0 scrub radius with the OEM 19x10 +33, you could run a 10.5 +33 square and keep the 0 scrub radius and use the appropriate spacer in the rear to make it rotatable. If you want to run 19x11 square you will have to push the front wheel out a bit and have a slightly positive...
I have Silvers 2 way true rear coilovers on my Nismo. Suspension is very subjective. Basically if you like the stock ride then coilovers are not for you. Just get a set of lowering springs and call it a day. Coiloves are geared more for performance vs aesthetics. They are noisier, ride harder...
Not sure if you are referring to the same noise but axle clicking was a very common issue on the 350/370Z and will probably also be on the new Z as they get older.
You don't have to remove them if you don't want to, you can just unplug them but you will need to buy the resistor kit. Without the resistors you will definitely get a warning light for the airbag system. I removed mine cause they were just dead weight and for a cleaner look.
Here is the kit...
Yeah, they are literally over 4x more expensive than the OE pads so they better last 4x as long. I planning to do at least 1 day in my Nismo this year, my plan is to bring an extra set of OE pads with me, they are super easy to change.
I've seen these tail lights on another JDM Z but I don't think they are OE, for the inside bars to light up. Also I believe they have a sequential turn signal as well.
This is not a Z rack but an example pic, they are all similar. That shaft ( #4 ) is the main shaft that sticks out of the sides of the rack and swings left/right that the inner tie rods are attached to. The tolerance is very tight in the rack housing, so if that shaft is just slightly bent it...
Sounds like you have a tight joint somewhere or the steering rack shaft might be slightly bent. Has the car ever been in a accident or a curb hit or gone off road by mistake?
Those black rings on ether side of the control arm are not the actual bushings, they are rubber washers that are paced over each side of the bushing. Nissan also puts some lube on the washers ( most likely lithium grease) It may be the residual grease getting squeezed out.
Yeah, its annoying af. It lets you get to 155 then just cuts power till the car gets down to 150 then lets you go again. I thought the Nismo was limited at 175 but its not, or at least the US version is at 155. The main issue it that the car can get to 155 really quick and its still pulling hard...
I don't think the small bushing on the front arm is oil filled so that probably just some residue from the rubber or road grime, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are having a steering issue have your alignment checked. The alignment on these cars seems to be all over the place from the...
Yeah, must definitely be mislabeled. The hose circled in red is not on the standard Z model, it comes directly off the top of the engine radiator and goes to the driver side small radiator then tees back into the lower rad hose. The charge air cooler circuit is completely separate, they do not...
The Nismo has 2 turbo heat exchangers not 3. It has the large one in the center same as the regular Z model and a small one on the passenger side. The small one on the driver side is an auxiliary radiator for the engine coolant, it has a set of small coolant hoses coming from the main radiator...
As far as fitment its fine. Tire Rack sells fitment on the conservative side. Don't forget, you will need new TPMS sensors or have them transferred over from your OE wheels.
