  1. Hands Up all the Aussies

It’s gonna look awesome in my garage for a month or so!
  2. Hands Up all the Aussies

I just spoke to dealer. Car in the warehouse in Welshpool apparently, but the Z's will be last to leave from that shipment hence end of month delivery. I've gotta be the only buyer in Australia not in a rush so they can take as long as they like.
  3. Hands Up all the Aussies

Osborne park - same as you. Gun metallic manual. As I said - I expect I've just got lucky with a cancellation of someone ahead of me with the same spec (or Nissan is just sending cars as produced which aren't linked to the order of orders). I can see why it would make sense to produce a run...
  4. Hands Up all the Aussies

You’re not gonna be happy with me then. Got a call yesterday. I expect somewhere between cars not being produced in order of orders and a cancellation I’ve been told I have a car arriving within weeks. The call was to confirm I wanted the car - needed an answer immediately or it would go to next...
  5. Hands Up all the Aussies

Small bone shattered into a few pieces. Cast / splint for 6 weeks plus another six weeks avoiding heavy contact with palm / wrist. Could be ok after the 6 but will need to take it easy. Certainly not allowed back on the bike for 12 weeks.
  6. Hands Up all the Aussies

I hope mine takes at least another 12 weeks. I won’t be able to drive a manual until then because of this bloody broken left hand.
  7. Hands Up all the Aussies

@West Aussie i was looking through the fence at the port last weekend while on my bike and this is why I crashed at the bend at the underpass and broke my hand!
  8. Hands Up all the Aussies

I think I was 9 June 2022. If my mustang dark horse arrives first I’ll be dropping my order. As a separate issue I’ve yet to do a test drive at my dealer but was hoping to have time this weekend. Instead i came off my bike and now left arm in a cast with a broken hand
  9. Hands Up all the Aussies

That would be a no from me. I’d replace my 3.0 supercharged A5 with a more recent S5 if going auto. The RWD manual is the whole appeal.
  10. Hands Up all the Aussies

Yep - but I've held off for a long time. Current car (2012 3.0 Supercharged Audi A5 Sportback) turns 11 in July - still love it, but need some muscle before there's no more to be had. Had a HSV GTO Coupe back in 2003 - should have kept it - would be worth a fortune now.
  11. Hands Up all the Aussies

I’ve never driven either! Dealer has offered me a test drive of their manual Z but I’ve not had time. I may take both and then flip the one I prefer least.
  12. Hands Up all the Aussies

That's awesome if it's a September 22 order and he's getting it now off a cancellation. Am sure there will be a few pissed off people with much earlier orders. I have to say as my 2024 mustang dark horse gets closer I'm closer to cancelling my Z order.
  13. Hands Up all the Aussies

@West Aussie a mate of mine took this photo at freo port while he was out cycling yesterday. Proto and a blue coupe delivered on the dock.
  14. Hands Up all the Aussies

Don’t you lover he insurance definition of at fault! It’s your fault unless it’s proven it’s someone else’s. In fact they once tried to go even further with me in that even though the guy that stole my car was charged and convicted, the insurer deemed it my fault because they didn’t reckon...
  15. Hands Up all the Aussies

I’ve progressively moved all my family cars over to RAC in recent years. Have been awesome with a couple of claims (not our fault). I moved the first car after an accident (rear ended) where my insurer was terrible to deal with but the at fault driver’s insurance (RAC) did all the work and...
  16. Hands Up all the Aussies

Great to know thanks. I believe I'm order # 5 or 6 at the same dealer.
  17. Hands Up all the Aussies

    or how about W8D4EVR
  18. Hands Up all the Aussies

I like the BIGWAIT one (or LONGW8 nut not BIGW8 - sounds like a budget department store).
  19. Hands Up all the Aussies

Ok. So I’ve genuinely been playing the waiting game pretty calmly, but thus has got me a bit excited!
  20. Hands Up all the Aussies

Agree with the comments re Barry. He was super helpful and genuine. Glad you’ve hung in there for yours.
