Just had a chat with Sydney dealer, pretty much confirmed our thinking, Nissan Australia looking after the allocation of cars by order date, when confirmed by them your dealer should then contact you.
So basically I suppose then that dealers are not getting a certain allocation each
As I said earlier can't imagine that they would have lots of cars tied up as demo's, surely only the larger dealers and even then move them around to closer dealers or would that make too much sense
I called Nissan customer service yesterday to confirm that the loyalty discount was still in play and that it would also apply to the Z. They confirm that it was.
I'll let the dealer come up with the driveaway price first before asking for my $500 discount otherwise they will try to wrangle out...
It sounds like you really want the 6sp and are trying to convince yourself that the auto will be OK.
I like west aussie think this will be a drivers car that means 6sp, hence the new supra manual.
Personally I would say no, 90k a lot to spend and not get exactly what you want and now to start...
I don't think that Nissan Japan would be making any surplus/ stock cars, based on their production schedule every car off the line will have a home. Nissan Japan would have all the production scheduling data.
I feel that for some reason this information is not fully being communicated to Nissan...
Has anyone thought about an advanced driver training course, this Z has a lot of power, and in lots of reviews we see them loosing the rear end even with stability control on, never had an issue with my 370Z but this car brings the power on a lot quicker.
when I paid deposit to the local dealer their estimate was approx October this year, it looks like they may have been close to the mark all along the way things are going
