I really like the Performance Rays, but hate black wheels. So I just had them coated with Prismatic Powders Superchrome. Added 20mm spacers all around and now pondering some RS-R springs to finalize things.

Yeah, that was me that just pulled the solenoid and left it connected then installed the blockoff. I put the solenoid in a ziplock and duct tape to keep debris out of it, and zipped it to a bracket that is just to the rear of the mounting location. No issues for the past couple thousand miles...

Am I missing the Torque Solutions shifter for our cars on their site? They have nothing listed for the Z, only the prior generations.

Interested in the deletes, but for now I just unbolted the poppers leaving them plugged in, removed the bracket, wrapped in a rag with tape and laid them down where they were installed. Looking at pics of expanded ones there should be enough space for them to expand without hitting anything...

Might seem obvious, but I have had some offbrand batteries bought off Amazon that had a clear plastic sticker on the positive side. Other than that all I can say is like everyone else here, try a different known working battery before heading off to dealership purgatory.

You can peel both outside and inside the lift button area, as the badge has enough of a dividing line to make a clean peel. You do have to work a bit inside the handle, as it is tight and a lighter coat takes more friction to release everything deeper in.

I had a can of Plastidip Hyperdip in my cabinet, so I did the cheap recolor. Has a nice metal flake in sunlight.

Now over 80 miles into it after installing the blockoff. No CEL pending or stored. Keeping the stock solenoid plugged in seems to satisfy the ECM even if it is not affecting actual reported oil pressures.

On a manual car it is very easy to reach as there is no transmission oil cooler in front of it. It can be done with just jack stands. I like my toys so I have a shop and a mid-rise lift so it took me longer to get it on the lift and drop the plastic cover than to install the part.

I just installed the blank, then left the solenoid connected, bagged/duct taped, and zip tied to a bracket nearby. Only done a short test drive, but so far OBDLink is showing no current or pending codes. Fingers crossed as I do like having idle pressure in the mid-20s rather than 17-18 before.
