Strongly considering - powder coating the wheels on my Performance Model Z bronze to mimic "match" the Proto Spec. Thoughts? Generally, I really like the look of bronze wheels on black cars. I keep looking to see if anyone has given it a try - but so far no takers
Are any of the more “talented” members of our forum able to do a photoshop of the Black Nissan Z but with the proto spec Bronze wheels? Im toying with the idea of either powder coating the stock black wheels a stain bronze, or even keeping the stock pair and ordering an additional pair in proto...
has anyone spotted a photoshop of the protospec bronze wheels on the black Z?
I’ve considered ordering a separate set in bronze and keeping the stock wheels or even powder coating the stock wheels with a satin bronze color…. ?
First Bath :)
As for mods - I’m sticking mostly stock for a while, but have toyed with the idea of a VERY modest drop, some spacers to bring the wheels out flush…and maybe…just maybe powder coating the wheels satin bronze..
I understand that it’s an opinion as is mine. I truly do wish all those hunting the best of luck in finding the Z they want at whatever price they feel comfortable paying.
I would have gladly paid MSRP if I could have found a single dealer willing to part with one at MSRP in a 300 mile radius...
Gentlemen - I think we just see this differently and that is perfectly ok.
Yes, people actually get something out of family vacations, but the counter argument here would be at which point? It’s a slippery slope to start saying this should cost “x or y”. Is a good family vacation 2k? 5k 15k...
……as I’m sure many of us don’t want to hear what is and isn’t acceptable to pay. That’s completely relative. I do t care what ANYONE thinks is acceptable to pay. That’s up to to the people paying it.
I was unable to find anyone who would sell at MSRP for ANY model (sport, performance or Proto). I was quoted 10K even 15K over sticker repeatedly until I secured the deal I got. I can assure you I'm no "dealer" or employee. Did I get the best "value for my money" probably not....but I dont...
I am considering having my stock wheels powder coated this color - doing a very slight drop and adding some spacers to bring the wheels out for a more flush fitment
I wasn’t expecting much from the Bose system - My Infiniti had a Bose system and while it wasnt great, it was demonstrably better than the Z. it sounds so thin - like the subwoofer may not be working at all…
being that you are one of the few people to have the Z - Ha e you noticed it’s sound system being particularly abysmal? Not that I’m a bass head - but my sound is so thin, I wonder if I even have any sub at all….I wasn’t expecting miracles from a Bose system, but I’m not certain there isn’t an...
Had this beauty for about 2 weeks now. Performance - Black on Black Auto. I lucked out as it was a right place / right time scenario with a local dealer.
