I'll be contacting BC on Monday for pricing/fitment. From looking at their site for this wheel it's looking more like 4500+ for a set of 4. Probably going to go up a size all around. Also thinking of doing a 40 series all around for a better ride and to help fill the wheel well. I usually stay...
If I swapped out it would be with the AWE. I've seen my fair share of aftermarket exhausts on the Z. The one concern that keeps coming back to me is ground clearance. With two people in the car, a full load of fuel and luggage is it going to scrape.
Don't know who's but the wheels are made by BC Forged. It's a modular two piece forged wheel. Depending on the size you want, your looking at a starting price around 4k for a set of 4
I commonly do 1k+mile round trips in mine. The nose, mirrors and glass are riddled with chips/strikes. The pass sidesill is cracked from the front tire throwing road debris into it. It's called enjoying your car.
From what your saying the stealership that swapped your wheel/tire package violated the Monroney Act ie the label on the side window. If memory serves its a federal violation too. That label is there to prevent them from doing exactly what they did and no it's against federal law for them to...
I've read the same thing. Even had a tuner from one of the highest regarded Z shops tell me, Just disconnect it, nothing else to do. Now I read that it throws a light which requires going into the ECU to turn off.
I'll stand corrected but due to the 91 fuel it has to pull more timing which makes any engine run hotter. With 93 fuel the only time I see elevated temps is under hard multiple pulls.
Can't help on the octane booster other than to be really careful what you put in there. If memory serves you've only got 91 fuel where you're at. If so, your down around 30HP. I had to run 91 in my car for about 200 miles. I only had to lean on it once to realize the power loss. If you have E85...
Mine talks to me when I get in and out of it. I think it's telling me to lose weight. It also makes that funky noise when the window goes up and down to clear the weather strip. Awhile back I did have a whining noise, but a divorce fixed that one.
Gentlemen, Just keeping it real. Empirical data ie UOA report shows it shearing out of the minimum 8.8 to 8.2 in reference to the CST Viscosity @ 100C for a 30wt. Otherwise, it ain't a 30wt anymore when it gets some time on it. To keep things even steven, that report only showed 1% fuel...
