That does look ridiculously good but if they want a pure sports car it will have to be full hardtop coupe. Even if it is a manually operated one the pillars would have to be strengthened to meet rollover regs.
Best of both worlds: offer a choice!
I totally agree with this. Toyota has become synonymous with boring, vanilla and safe/fuel efficient. The first thing that comes to mind is the Corolla. No one is thinking FR-S. Like you said it doesn't even have a Toyota badge but something else - they didn't even develop it all themselves...
I really like the way the sports sedan concept looks but yea that is going to be the next Maxima i think. Just look at those proportions.
Still, I won't complain if the Z35 shares some of this design , very futuristic and muscular looking. How about that glass roof?
I had been considering one until I did some research and found out there's a new Z nameplate that might be coming....then I had to wait.
Loved the 350 and the 370 only improved on it. This next one should be a stunner
If they can get it to sub 3000 pounds and trim a few inches it will truly be contending for class leading and probably put a hurt on the toyota 86 sales.
The car would lose its identity without at least a 6 cyl in there. Yea 4 bangers are taking over the market but I'd like to see it as an option at most.
