Apparently the track exhaust is made by Borla for Nismo USA, & I've only seen the Nismo sports exhaust in any Japanese catalogues, so I wasn't thinking we'd get it. Borla's new exhaust looks like a similar design to the Nismo.
Yeah nice! The model specific magazines they do are really cool. I picked up the JDM dealer catalogue as well, hardcover! Hoping to take it to Z Con in LA and get it signed. Amazing presentation for dealership promotional material.
I've been collecting various Z books/photos etc., and came across this one recently at Kinokuniya Books in San Francisco--'RZ34 Fairlady Z Perfect Book'. It's a special edition style magazine on the new Z. Has some good pics I haven't seen elsewhere & lots of details on the car, in Japanese so...
Yeah if I do anything to mine I think it'd be this + the Nismo intakes, would be great to hear it inside as well. Looking forward to some more Z's getting released worldwide & we can start seeing some more cars getting modified.
This new video has pretty good coverage of the Nismo sports exhaust, and also the Nismo wheels, from the Japanese demo car. Worth a look for anyone that's thinking of getting it, in Japanese but translate works:
If you end up chatting to Nissan about the Nismo parts, I’d be interested to know if there are any plans to release a “sports resetting” tune that I’ve seen them do for other JDM models.
Looks great! What did you use for the floor and which battens are you going for?
I’m in the process of redoing a side of the garage for the Z as well. Repco have a blue wall cabinet on sale at the moment which should match pretty well.
Yeah! I couldn't really think of much to try and add in when chatting to the dealer...got floor mats, might try to order some other bits online. Incidentally if anyone is chasing a new sub for the spare tyre well, the Kenwood version which fits is on sale at Autobarn.
Me too. On the plus side I think I’ve collected all the Hot Wheels models now lol. I’m also gradually collecting some Bowden’s Own products to give the car a good detail once it turns up, apparently mine was built in Feb.
