If I understand correctly, the LSD in the 23+ Z is a clutch type. What are the pros/cons of it over a helical type? The helical would outlast a clutch type, so why do you think Nissan choose it?

A local dealer had a yellow manual with blue interior , they wanted me to consider that instead of ordering a blue one for me.

Actually I bet the pads getting low made the fluid level in the brake reservoir get low enough enough that the brake light comes on. Which is why there was a period were it would come on and off from start/stop driving.
