So just to follow up, I've been running with the mount for a few weeks now. Install was easy, the parts are high quality, and I have not noticed any difference in temps. Don'[t have any pics ATM but I can take some this weekend if there's interest and the weather holds.
Yes, but it's usually just been for a second while going under an overpass so I didn't think much of it. It is funny how 1-99 are practically the same and 100 is like looking into the sun. Glad to hear taking the headlights off "Auto" is a solution, I think I prefer manual activation anyways.
Call me an attention seeking douche but I enjoy owning a unicorn. Just yesterday I had a new WRX pacing me on the highway staring at the car, the driver behind me at the offramp stop light whipped out their phone and was taking pictures, and a few hours after I got home some guy was peeking over...
This is my first car with a backup camera. Do I like it? Yeah, it's awesome. It it low res and pretty meh for a $53k car? Yeah. Do I still love the car? Absolutely.
Yeah, when I was younger in NH I was pulled over for no front plate a few times...I'll just mount it on the Z, I think it looks great with and without. I'll try the off-center Mishimoto mount first, see how it looks.
As for the airflow, looking inside the front bumper it looks like it'd be...
Been using Android Auto (wired) without issues for the past few days. I like it! Just plug in the phone and hit a button on the cars display, and yes it keep the phone charged too.
Wow, that sounds amazing. I'm still in the break in period on my Z (currently 300~ miles) so I haven't gotten on it hard, but the stock exhaust is pretty disappointing. This blows it out of the water.
If I may ask, how much was the setup with install?
I prefer having separate winter rims, keeps the summer ones out of the bad weather. Plus you don't have to continuously pay for dismounting, mounting snows, and balancing.
Yes, thinner tires are better in the winter, but I can't way what width to get, I'm sure someone else can chime in.
