I agree it makes no sense not to send the cars that are already built. I suspect my car is sitting in a paddock somewhere - exposed to the weather for three straight months. I fear what may happen to the paintwork - and potential rust/corrosion on the undercarriage/brakes/suspension, etc.

My Queensland dealer has confirmed that my blue coupe has/was built in late January - but still can't give me a VIN. He tells me I should get the car in May. But then he previously told me it would be ready March, then he said April.... Seems only Protos and solid coloured cars are coming in so far.

Hi. For me it was definitely on the upshifts - but maybe I do just need to adjust to the high clutch bite point - or maybe it was just that car. For downshifts I prefer to turn rev matching off and heel/toe myself - which you can do in the Z.

Hello Peter. Did you notice any rev hang on the upshifts? When I test drove a Z recently the revs would not drop quickly when changing up through the gears when accelerating quickly. Just wondering if this might have been specific to the car I tested - or whether it is just a characteristic of...

Sorry - I meant it is most noticeable/irritating when upshifting when close to the redline.

From memory, I think it does it from about 3500-4000rpm and up - but it is most noticeable when launching hard and revving out close to the redline.

It felt weird because the revs would not drop quickly after releasing the clutch when changing gears at high rpm - which made the process feel clumsy - jerky. Maybe I need more practice with the car.
