If the Mustang will have a large delay - then maybe I should wait for the Z. I viewed a Sieran blue Z at a dealer yesterday for the first time (my order colour) - and it looks fantastic. Worth noting is that while chatting, the dealer mentioned a fault to watch out for. He said that on some cars...
I too was hoping to take advantage of the instant asset write off. I put a deposit down on 18 December 2020! My Sieran blue Z is confirmed to have been built in mid January. Dealer rang yesterday to advise I will not see it until July. Now that is beyond a joke. I have a Mustang Dark Horse on...
Hi GeelongCats. Just wondering if you have had any interest in your Z? Like several others here I have gone and bought something else while waiting - but still have the Z coming - supposedly in the next month or two. I was thinking of getting the Z, putting both my cars up for sale, and then...
I agree it makes no sense not to send the cars that are already built. I suspect my car is sitting in a paddock somewhere - exposed to the weather for three straight months. I fear what may happen to the paintwork - and potential rust/corrosion on the undercarriage/brakes/suspension, etc.
My Queensland dealer has confirmed that my blue coupe has/was built in late January - but still can't give me a VIN. He tells me I should get the car in May. But then he previously told me it would be ready March, then he said April.... Seems only Protos and solid coloured cars are coming in so far.
Hi there. I think you are in for a long wait. I put my deposit down in December 2020. I think it was the day - or a few days after the new Z was announced. Over two years ago. Mistake I made was not choosing the Proto. Might have received that by now. Instead I am still waiting.... and...
Hi. For me it was definitely on the upshifts - but maybe I do just need to adjust to the high clutch bite point - or maybe it was just that car. For downshifts I prefer to turn rev matching off and heel/toe myself - which you can do in the Z.
Hello Peter. Did you notice any rev hang on the upshifts? When I test drove a Z recently the revs would not drop quickly when changing up through the gears when accelerating quickly. Just wondering if this might have been specific to the car I tested - or whether it is just a characteristic of...
It felt weird because the revs would not drop quickly after releasing the clutch when changing gears at high rpm - which made the process feel clumsy - jerky. Maybe I need more practice with the car.
