Anyone notice they removed the Nissan badge on the front for a Z badge? Looks lazy, now you've got a bit gap around the Z badge on the bonnet.

Seems like Nissan took the lazy approach compared to what they did in the 370z. Rather than really refine the suspension for the Nismo they just made the stock Z soft and the Nismo sporty. Nismo 370z was way firmer than the current gen Nismo imo. But atleast Nissan is listening to customers...

Spewing they come out with a manual 12 months after I buy a Nismo. I wonder if they'll remap the automatic with improved linear torque. The torque is friggen wild in sport+ with decreased traction control too.

That's a good point. I didn't pay attention to transmission temp. Will take a closer look today and see if I noticed differences. I turned off the speed limit tech the other day. Might be placebo effect but I noticed a slight difference in rev range. Although maybe transmission was warmed.

Something I noticed a bit strange. In my Nismo Z when the car cannot detect the speed limit it seems to rev/stay in gear longer. I.e sport mode, 3rd gear 4k revs, doing 60-70km/h. When it detects the speed limit is 70km/h, as soon as I get to around 70 it will upshift and sit 1500 revs...

I've got a type D Tomei and it's great. Gives a nice tone, not obnoxiously loud either.

Nice! Keen to hear it, I had one of these on my 370z and they were amazing. This time I opted for the Tomei as it was one of the few exhausts that have a great tone. Not just loud noise. Couldn't find any videos on the ark so I went with the safe bet.
