  1. Advice for replacing stock tires on 2024 Performance

I got Bridgestone Potenza sports. So much better than stock. Would recommend
  2. 2027 Z US Press Kit Photos

Anyone notice they removed the Nissan badge on the front for a Z badge? Looks lazy, now you've got a bit gap around the Z badge on the bonnet.
  3. 2027 NISSAN Z (Refresh Model) Specs & Gallery

Seems like Nissan took the lazy approach compared to what they did in the 370z. Rather than really refine the suspension for the Nismo they just made the stock Z soft and the Nismo sporty. Nismo 370z was way firmer than the current gen Nismo imo. But atleast Nissan is listening to customers...
  4. 2027 NISSAN Z (Refresh Model) Specs & Gallery

Australia requires two licences plates and they definitely care ALOT here lol
  5. 2027 NISSAN Z (Refresh Model) Specs & Gallery

Man I'd prefer all black. Unpopular opinion, but these colour interiors remind me of the old mid 2000 sex spec cars.
  6. As a daily, would you go for a manual trans or the Nismo auto?

I got the Nismo auto because at the time the Nismo didn't have a manual. I personally had a 370z Nismo before this in a manual. Switching to an auto was nice at first, but it's quite boring. Not to mention the Nismo Z unless you're in sport + mode it will try and be as fuel efficient as...
  7. 2027 NISSAN Z (Refresh Model) Specs & Gallery

Spewing they come out with a manual 12 months after I buy a Nismo. I wonder if they'll remap the automatic with improved linear torque. The torque is friggen wild in sport+ with decreased traction control too.
  8. Fatal Nissan Z Nismo Crash in Japan

In going to guess he was flogging it in sport+ mode. The traction control in that mode is so loose I've come unstuck a few times. Putting some Bridgestone Potenza sports on , hopefully they're better than the Dunlop's. Twice I've planted it about 70km/h and the rear just kicks
  9. Due for new tyres after 11,000 KM?

Yeah I did see that thread and was quite intrigued. 10,000 miles is about 14,500km. On my old nismo 370z on bridge potenza sports I got about 20,000km. That would excessively wear on the inner side due to camber. Given the twin turbo torque I'd say 15,000km is probably fair, but down to the...
  10. Due for new tyres after 11,000 KM?

Running the stock tyres on my nismo Z. I've had spirited fun driving sure, but it's not like I've been carving the mountains flogging the shit out of it. At 10,800 KM I'm basically on my wear marker on both rear wheels. Coming from my 370z on bridgestone super sports I got 20k and was driving...
  11. Nismo Sport+ mode had me going sideways unintentionally

So this was an experience that made me wish I was wearing my brown pants. Currently in my town it's around -2 to 5 degrees Celsius. I was driving home from work, probably about 35 minutes of driving. Temps were showing everything was nice and warm. I was going through a few residential...
  12. Anyone's Auto Z behaviour change when the car can't recognise a speed limit?

That's a good point. I didn't pay attention to transmission temp. Will take a closer look today and see if I noticed differences. I turned off the speed limit tech the other day. Might be placebo effect but I noticed a slight difference in rev range. Although maybe transmission was warmed.
  13. Anyone's Auto Z behaviour change when the car can't recognise a speed limit?

Something I noticed a bit strange. In my Nismo Z when the car cannot detect the speed limit it seems to rev/stay in gear longer. I.e sport mode, 3rd gear 4k revs, doing 60-70km/h. When it detects the speed limit is 70km/h, as soon as I get to around 70 it will upshift and sit 1500 revs...
  14. Third Party Exhaust Recommendation?

I've got a type D Tomei and it's great. Gives a nice tone, not obnoxiously loud either.
  15. Longest road trip on your Z?

I bought my Z brand new and drove it 900 km's home. Much against the break in procedure guidelines l.
  16. New ARK GRIP Exhaust

Nice! Keen to hear it, I had one of these on my 370z and they were amazing. This time I opted for the Tomei as it was one of the few exhausts that have a great tone. Not just loud noise. Couldn't find any videos on the ark so I went with the safe bet.
