1SS/1LE is 46k new - It's a no brainer, by far the best handling of the muscle trinity.
If Chevy keeps it going another gen (not likely) and does the "Future Retro" on a 3rd or 4th Gen Camaro (think 2+2 C7 in looks) - I think they overtake the Mustang in sales again.
If possible, WAIT.
Things are starting to cool off, cars are back to 2019 values (as if it's still 2019) and houses are starting to sit again - If at all possible, give it time.
This is the absolute worst time to buy anything. There's going to be a fire sale on everything this time next year.
Truth. I took my 40th to 3 different body shops in Houston after some truck parked on the front bumper at work.....my first night having it
$20 for a pack of squares?!
They handle with witchcraft too, I dunno how the hell GM did it. The 6th Gen Camaro is criminally underrated and overlooked - by far the best of the Muscle Trinity.
The suspension articulates so damned well in that car.
C8 Gremlins, Let's see.....where do we begin
Engine issues (Valve Springs, etc)
DCT issues (luck of the draw, GM is going in house with the tranny building now for 2024)
Wavy Windshields (that are being replaced with another wavy windshield)
Gas Leaks (this one just showed up)
Frunk lids flying...
So....apparently a hell of a lot of gremlins have surfaced with the C8 in the past 2 years.
I'm still on the '24 C8 list but, the Z isn't out the picture just yet....I might just say screw it and get a C7 after the bobble pops.
And why do they keep using the Mach 1?! - The Mach 1 isn't a "normal" trim.
Mustang GT Premium is what they should be using, not the damned GT350 replacement.
You hit the nail on the head.....problem is, it's not within budget this time.
Camaro SS/1LE is 6k cheaper than a Z Performance...
