I found a online dealer last week offering 25% off. Paid $2928 which included shipping. Retail price would of been $3824.
I went with 19 x 9.5 /+22 on front and 19 x 10.5 /+12 on the rear. Hopefully the size I picked looks good. I'm still trying to figure out the tire size.
Reminds me a smurf doll. I love the Yellow Z exteriors and love the look of the blue interiors, just not together. All personal opinion, but I'd take a pass on it.
I just pulled the trigger on a set of Nismo LM-RS1 Wheels in Anthracite Gray. Anyone familiar with the wheels or purchased a set. I'm trying to figure out if I can use my original tires and lug nuts off my OEM Performance Wheels.
Received a estimated on color change on OEM Wheels. $600 plus tax on painting the wheels and $1000 plus tax on Power coating them. My other alternative is to spend around $3900 for the BBS unlimited wheels on the blue Z pic.
Decisions - Decisions ??
After more internet searching I discovered the Blue Z was posted on Instagram and has BBS wheels. They look similar to the OEM design. Another alternative if powder coating is too expensive.
Does anyone have any experience with BBS wheels ? I'm trying to figure out best size and offset.
Your 240 looks great with the aluminum rims, reminds me of burgundy 1978 280 Z.
I scuffed my front rim a few days ago. While searching for a wheel repair shop I came across RGX rim repair. Apparently they do repairs and advertise complete color changes. As long as it's not a budget buster, I...
I'm thinking of painting my performance OEM wheels Silver to match the Katana blade, looking for alittle more contrast with my Rosewood color. I love the OEM wheels, but feel the dark gray is better suited for the lighter color Z's. I found a few pics with silver rims, opinions welcome. Please...
Beautiful BMW Congrats ! Excellent write up and I do get what you mean about the the honey moon period. When I feel like the honey moon is about to come to a end, I park one for a week and take the other one out. It's like having two girlfriends, lol.
As much as I love my Rosewood Z, I'd probably be trading it in on this Custom Edition. The upgrades give it a beautiful heritage look going back to the original Z's IMO.
Beautiful Z. Interesting $10k over on a used Z ??? I guess that's good for us current owners, that their holding value. But not so good for the folks in the market for one.
