So Some much Welcomed news for Nismo Aftermarket brake pads! I just got off the phone with a Rep at Carbotech. They are laser cutting Nismo Z front pads this week and will have Carbotech Nismo Z pads available within approximately 3 weeks. The indicated that Z1 will be the source to order from...

I too am waiting for Aftermarket Replacement pads for my Nismo. I am partial to Carbotech pads. For 2 reasons..low dust and much longer wear for the same or better bite. I’ve been checking with them periodically for the release. Hope soon.
Thanks @trackratZ . I did just install Nismo Coilovers and Z1 swaybars. Lowered about an inch. Car handles way differently/ better!! Gone is the “soft” feel. Definitely a recommended upgrade and so worth the $2300.
I really like the fact that Nissan added the “Since 1969” lettering on the rear window of the Nismo except for the fact that you couldn’t see it with the black letters on the black interior. So here is my solution: I bought a matching red Brilliant glossy Cricket premium vinyl product at my...
I just installed the Nismo Coilovers in my Proto Z MT along with Z1 Front and Rear Sway Bars after 3700 miles stock driving and Yes the Stock suspension is super "floaty" in comparison. I set the sway bars in the stiffest setting and the coilover dampening setting at 6 of 16. Lowered the car by...
I've been looking at Carbotech's website for Nismo Pads..none yet. But I would hope they will make them soon. If they do I will be replacing my Nismo Pads with them. It's insane how a 10 mile drive sheds so much pad material!
I went with The Continental DWS06 and they have been fantastic so far. I installed the Z1 sway bars and went with the stiffer setting (setting 2). Installed the Nismo Coilovers and lowered the car about 1.5 inches. (maybe a Little to low for an Older guy..ha ha) I set the compression stiffness...
Love that orange! But they really need to dress up the interior. How about orange inserts in the seat and orange stitching . Just like the Proto Spec has in yellow! If they do I’ll buy one for the stable!
I own both a Z proto in a Manual and a Nismo in automatic and to me they are very different cars to drive. The Nismo is Z angry to drive compared to the GT sports car feel of the Proto. I Enjoy them both depending on my driving mood but the Nismo feels so much faster especially with the way it...
Nice Z!. to bad you are not just up to throwing on a set of Nismo Coilovers and keeping the Z. I have a Proto Z and a Nismo Z and the Proto is certainly much softer in the suspension. I will be adding the Nismo coilovers/spring set very soon. I too prefer a stiffer ride but would not get rid of...
@mtjohnson Congrats on your decision to move on from the Z. Everyone has a different opinion on cars and you are certainly entitled to yours but for the me having owned/own many cars now and in the past I am settled with my 4 z cars. 71 240z restomod, 90 300zx 2+2 AT 23 Z Proto 6mt, 24 Nismo AT...
