Nismo suspension parts are currently being retooled. I would wait for the updated versions or go with another brand like Z1. I personally have most if not all the Z1 catalog and couldn't be happier. The R-Pro coilovers are true type and use FEAL struts and Swift springs.

Im surprised anything was that noticeable. But as mentioned proper offset wheels are the main goal. If you plan on upgrading wheels soon and you want the good looks spacers provide. Any additional stress caused will not effect the long term performance of your suspension much.
