So I went over to a Supra forum for the heck of it to see how much they would praise their car and see if any of them would consider the other cars I'm thinking about (Challenger, Mustang, SS, and Z). To my surprise I didn't even get one person that recommended the new Supra! They all said it...
Yeah, I guess different colors to match the exterior would be a lot ask for at this price point. I just hope they don't all have that yellow stitching as that would be a deal breaker for me. Any other color, even all black would be better. We do know they are offering a blue interior though so...
I don't know if I can wait until Nov. I really wanted a new car this summer and was about to order a Challenger, but hear if you order one it could take up to 6 months. So I guess either find one on a lot that will suffice or wait it out until the Z arrives and check one out in person before I...
I wonder if they will have matching seat stitching and such that matches the exterior color? I definitely don't want yellow as its my least favorite color. Now a gold or bronze would be another story...
So for someone like me that will most likely usually have one car (although I may get a beater for the winter), the Z probably isn't the best option for a daily driver and I should stick with the Mustang or go with my original intention of getting a Scat Pack? I am single and most likely to stay...
I think you are spot on as I own a Mustang now and have had 3 of them and was going to get a Scat Pack. Another Mustang would probably be the smart choice since I already have a winter tire/wheel setup and the coyote is easy and fairly cheap to mod, but I just want something different with more...
3k for a tune and exhaust sounds a little high. I just looked up the exhaust you mentioned and it is on sale for about 1.2k for just the cat back unless you get extras with it. As far as the trans, although the manual may be tempting in this kind of car, I will most likely go with the auto...
Now we're talking! Looks like pretty decent gains for a tune. Traction is the main issue with the Challenger as well. You almost have to put bigger wheels and tires on to get the most out of it unless you get the WB trim. I guess my main concern now is how good the trans is going to be and the...
That makes more sense if you are going to mod, but the vast majority (me included) will have to take out a loan. I went through years of being stupid and trading in too soon at about the time I broke even and thus was more like leasing. But I was able to get 0% interest for 72 months on my...
Yeah, I had a 2004 Sentra Spec V years ago that had a common engine issue that came up in my car. I had an intake, headers, full exhaust and an underdrive pulley on it and they gave me some grief, but ended up replacing the engine. Of course that was about 15 years when this happened.
Its not that I'm scared, just that things do happen. It could turn out to be a bad engine and if you did some mods to it they could deny coverage for those reasons. I don't know how picky Nissan is, but Dodge is very picky. The guys over there are saying its best to not do any tuning or anything...
IDK, a lot of links and lots of information that looks a little overwhelming if you have not been into turbos for awhile. A big V8 seems much easier to understand and tweak. Of course the gains will be a lot less, but the 6.4 in the Challenger is already pretty stout with a lot of torque out of...
Why is it saying 2023? I'm assuming that is when the Nismo will first come out. If the pricing on these cars is accurate, it really does sound like a good deal for the fact that the GTR only has around 600hp and cost in the low six figures.
Does anyone know how the current VR30TT motor responds to mods and thus what to expect in the Z? I'm assuming not near as big of a bump in hp or tq as the Supra with just a simple tune, but if its fairly close and also the fact it should be a little lighter should help.
So does anyone know hos the trunk size will be? You would think it would be fairly large being a hatchback, but with that bar in the middle that looks like it doesn't move, may limit it quite a bit. The opening does look bigger than the Supra though. I don't expect a huge trunk like the...
I'm surprised they would take a deposit this early. I know it will probably be different here in the states, but did they give you any hint as to when they might be available or at least a finished production version to check out? I'm getting antsy to get a new car and don't know if I can hold...
I never really considered an Infinity coupe before. I just checked them out and sure enough, way to pricey for me at 60k for a red sport. If you could get one of the regular Q60's in the low-to-mid 40's and could tune the engine up fairly easily and inexpensively to close to the RS levels, then...
