Agree…very aesthetically pleasing ?.
Functionally ? I have my reservation as I can barely see out the back window as is ?. I’d be interested in an interior shot as well!
I hear ya. Definitely
Well, after some back-and-forth, the dealer stepped up to the plate and is going to replace the side skirt. Appreciate the wake up call from the group as I’ll definitely be taking photos and videos from here on out!
So recently had my Nismo serviced and unfortunately after I made it home after a quick wash I noticed a small indent on the divers side skirt more toward the rear of the front tire. Appears to possibly be from the lift arms as there is no other damage indicating I ran over something on the way...
Dito!
I do have a PPF applied that hasn’t been treated with ceramic…curious to everyone’s thoughts on if the kit will adhere adequately?
Removing and reapplying the existing PPF is not an option for my piggy bank. I did lay the Fairlady emblem and some carob pieces on top of the PPF and...
Oh wow…thanks for this!!! So looking at the kits, is this the version that comes with the Nismo logo or is that just an added touch as the other stripe packages do not have it?
I’ve noticed the same ripples on this platform out of the blue over time…not sure if it’s a rigidity issue or is it just that fragile? Even my 370 had some play when light pressure was applied. Now my 280 on the other hand, I can break dance on that roof and nothing ?!
Spoke to the dealer, they can get the Nismo stripe kit, about 700$ and use a local wrap tech for the install. Waiting to get the part number.
Can either pay the ~500$hundred for him to install at the dealer or half that in his garage or do it myself for free lol!
Haven’t decided yet, how well...
Recently installed mine…socket extensions and some long flatheads will be your friend. If not already in the toolbox highly recommend picking some up! Enjoy!
PPF has been on there for a few months now although I tend to keep her in the shade or covered when home as my daily she’s always outside.
The entire job was in XPEL stealth PPF but I have some time this weekend for a few pin pricks while I keep her in the sun. Thanks!
I just touched up a blemish under the hood with the OEM touch up paint for the stealth gray, from far away and even up close it’s barely noticeable. I had to channel my inner Picasso, but definitely a cheaper option than a full repaint out of pocket. Will try to post some after pics as I don’t...
Copy…I wanted to throw the ask out there before any poking and prodding. Hoping there wasn’t a larger OEM defect at play, but definitely bringing her back to the installer if it is a defect in the PPF product or install to get after.
