For the most part, only really large cities, or metropolitan areas, have good public transportation. Most of the country is very similar to Australia with decent distances between things and the inability to function without personal transportation.
You can't hold Nissan to rumors about release date. There has only been one official release data and that is spring of 2022 as a 2023 model, unless I've missed something the past couple months. Anything before that is you putting expectations on Nissan from rumors and online "experts"...
I assume the headroom is identical to the 370Z. I'm about 6'1" with a long torso and I have to scooch down a bit to fit. I'm also 350lbs so I'm sure I'd fit a bit better if I were smaller. Unfortunately, me fitting with a helmet isn't in the cards.
Nismo version will likely not have any information until after the regular version goes into production. They said they would determine a Nismo edition based on demand.
Sadly, my car is way too high mileage to be collectible. :( I can't imagine having a nice car and not putting miles on it just in case it becomes collectible.
Part of the reason I tend toward darker, or muted, colors is that it's a bit less noticeable and there's a higher chance of getting away with "sporty" driving without drawing attention from law enforcement officers.
This isn't tan, it's orange (actual name is persimmon). My 370 is black with persimmon seats/inserts and I love it! I still wish I would have been able to find a blue Z but C'est la vie.
My guess is that the performance will be between $45k and $48k. The price difference between a base and sport+touring was $8k but I’m hoping some magic happens and it’s closer to the $45k. That said, I won’t be able to buy for a couple/few years.
