I ran Motul 8100 Power in the 370z for track but am curious what he's running as well. Thx for your question. edit: sorry, got this forum confused with another one. I thought this would have been a nested reply, neatly hidden away
Hi to everyone here. I would be willing to purchase your Z knife if you haven't used it. Please feel free to DM me if you're interested in selling your Z Knife
No idea, that is a great question for guys like Z1 motorsports, Specialty Z, Admin Tuning, etc. I would give them a call and see what's up. I think Nissan could tell my GT-R had been flashed via COBB but wasn't able to tell how many times I used launch control... that's what the master tech told...
The actual vehicle's ECU is flashed and if the dealership hooks up your car to review data or health information it is likely they would see the flash.
While I think Stillen makes good products this is by no means my attempt at bashing stillen but there are a few instances where Stillen's tunes for their Stillen 370Z supercharger kit were subpar even after multiple revisions. There is a fairly straightforward youtube video out there that goes...
I understand where you're coming from but the allure of getting, what, +70-80 torque as a baseline tune without breather mods is just a little too hard for me to pass up. I would certainly have someone like Seb at Specialty Z tune it for track purposes. He's a great guy, has answered all my...
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) although the discount code worked it is a local pickup for me and it still is around $2,000 before tax. It's not an immediate need right now (need to do surgery to move 370 suspension components to the new Z). But will keep looking and update here if I decide to...
Thanks for the reply. No endurance racing or time attack. Just planning lots of track weekends doing HPDE. To your point the stock LSD might be more than capable. I'm coming from the 370Z Sport which has the VLSD which more or less started acting like an open diff when hot. After researching...
This isn't in the immediate cards for me but I was looking. This is awesome - very in line with what I did for my 370Z using AAM short tails axel-back/muffler replacement. Will keep this in mind for future use. Thanks OP and everyone else who commented!
I second NorthSaltJake's summary. I do track events and while I am considering tuning my new Z through Ecutek I am not considering using a piggyback system. No way. Not for long, hot summer track events.
Does anyone know of the best aftermarket alternatives for LSD? I see on Conceptzperformance they have a few choices but I don't know right from left on the drop-down options...
There are a lot of options listed at Z1 motorsports but I haven't researched whether they need drilling or not. Take a look?

Hmm. Okay, so definitely okay for street use. Track use is entirely different with companies like AMS making larger intercoolers for each intake, a larger heat exchanger, and Z1 even making a true Air-to-Air system to combat heat for extended track use.
Great to hear it's not an issue for...
Signing up for the new vid. I did the AAM resonated Short Tails on my 370Z and really liked that approach. Not too loud, just aggressive enough. I noticed these are not resonated. Maybe there isn't the need for resonated anything exhaust-wise due to the turbos acting as mufflers?
Hi everyone,
Long-time lurker on my350z, my370z, and new member on this forum. I've built a few tutorials on hard to find topics for the 370Z but keep forgetting to create the posts. Anyways, I am replacing my 370Z for the RZ34 for track purposes. Luckily, most if not all of my suspension...
