Looks like you did pretty well based on the current car market. Where did you end up finding your car? I like the blue one in Statesville, but for us, it has to be a manual. I'm going to enjoy every last second shifting gears until they tell me I can't :).
That's what I figured. The shop I use works on Rick Hendrick's collection. The owner has told me that the paint on the C8 is better than previous generations. I'll bet black really pops with coating.
How much prep work on the paint before you installed the coating? I had ceramic pro installed on one of my cars and don't think I'll ever own another new car without it.
Wow, you really like to twist a narrative don't you?!! If you consider a different opinion as a personal attack, or you struggle that much with people disagreeing with you, I genuinely feel sorry for you. Being on the internet must be an anxiety filled event.
Lets close our dialogue with this...
Beautiful color and I really like the blue and red interiors. I still haven't seen a Z in person and pictures never really show what a car looks like. I watched the C8 release online and initially hated it. My opinion completely flipped when I saw one in person. Enjoy your car!
It doesn’t have anything to do with compassion. Reality doesn’t disappear simply because you want to close your eyes and pretend it doesn’t exist.
How about something far simpler. If you're offended by what a dealer charges, or by what someone pays for their car, DON'T read the posts. I'm not willing to pay over MSRP so I'll wait until the supply of cars is greater - pretty simple, huh? The market determines what a dealer charges and what...
Welcome Matt. I saw you were leaving the other forum so I'm glad that you landed over here. Good group of people that I continue to learn from every day.
Yeah, I observe and think about that same thing. So many people seem to have bought into the societal marketing hype and are more worried about how things look to their neighbors, than what they can actually afford. In high school and college I drove beat-up junkers and that was the norm for...
And an angry public that they've created even more so after the past two years. The public disdains dealers even worse than in the past. I'm looking forward to my next purchase and bleeding them for every dime that I can.
I agree - this is just the beginning and prices will continue to drop. Unfortunately, we're seeing the beginning phases of what the fed is hoping to do......impact jobs, prices, and spending. The good news is that car lots will have more cars at better prices.
Yeah, it's an interesting time like nothing else we've seen historically. It's humorous to watch CNBC each morning and see investors predict when/if we're going into a recession and the long term impact of the interest rate increases. Glad to see that inflation will only be "transitory", lol...
Wow, that could be a really long list if I included used cars in that ~ $50k and under space but just off the top of my head new cars would be - Z, Mustang GT, Camaro SS, WRX, Cadillac CT4 /CT5, BMW 2/3, Tesla Model 3. It goes without saying that none of us knows what the markup will be on most...
