This is true! I washed my z this am; and it took me 40 mins. Granted it’s a garaged car, but I washed it today in between works conference calls, had it done in 40 mins.
Thanks! So except for the power and ground, the installer can tap into the high-level input, and then use that to connect to the amp? Is there any cutting or splicing, or with the exception of power and ground can you use the existing Bose connecter? Also, do you have a link to the CW speaker...
Can you document how this was done please :) ? Did the installer need to run a power cable from the battery and a new ground etc.? Or did the CW get power from the stock amp wiring?
I have moved away from using any wheel cleaner. I tend to wash me cars often enough that I can clean them with just a separate bucket with my car wash soap and microfiber towel. I noticed on my Shelby with black wheels, that over time, even the best wheel cleaner would dull the wheels over time...
While I respect your methods, white is the most forgiving paint, you could literally go through the car wash every day and never see a swirl or imperfection.
This is relevant to my interests. I cannot stand the stock Bose system. Can you list the part numbers, because the bass in my car is non existent, it's really bad. Based on this post, I can just order the CW sub and an adapter, and it's plug and play?
Yea, that's a good solution. I was thinking along those same lines as well. That def looks cleaner, and the key is, it solves the problem. Hopefully some other members stumble on this thread.
That is exactly what I did, but the ones in the middle I was able to get down a bit further, but the ones on the edges are where mine are. Also, I was planning at some point to remove that whole dash finisher piece (it comes off in one piece) and put some black felt around the edges so it cannot...
You can only see mine because I zoomed in, and the steering wheel is all the way down, otherwise it cannot be seen. You need to see it a bit, so that there is direct contact on the dash and the finisher, if you push it down too far, there won't be enough contact to eliminate the rattles.
I used a small plastic pry tool, but you can just use your fingers and gently pull back the dash finisher a tiny bit to get the small foam pieces in there (you do not need to undo any clips, just gently pull back to make room)... It's a very easy thing to do, and nothing needs to come so if it...
This is a 15 second fix. Get a few small furniture discs with the adhesive back and place them in between the actual dash finisher and the plastic digital dash. I thought the rattle was coming from the side of the dash by the traction button, it's not. The reason the foam on the door helps is...
I have a 2024 Nissan Z, and had some issues with this rattle buz, and I solved the issue, I know exactly where it is. When you push on the traction button it does make the rattle go away, but that's not where the issue is. It's the dash surround plastic trim; there is no foam installed between...
