The percentage of cars that are running UHP tires has to be around 10% if that. Combine that with the tiny amount of carbon saved and it tells you everything you need to know. We are the carbon they want to reduce.

I had a set of Pilot Sport 4S (stock sizes on stock wheels) installed over the weekend. Car handles better, definitely know what it's going to do on these tires, totally worth it.

If you decide to modify it, hold on to everything that came original, wheels, intakes, seats, engine cover etc. If you ever decide to sell it, it will be worth more returning it to stock condition and the next owner will appreciate it. This goes for all cars, but especially limited editions.

You will need the harness whenever you want to reflash the ECU, it bypasses the module but doesn't eliminate it. Ecutek monitoring will work normally through the factory OBD2 port.

If you like the purple, go for it. Be flashy. Always go with the limited edition if you like the color and can swing it. Don't listen to the "it's just cosmetics" crowd, factory options and upgrades are always valuable.

"Lifetime" is really just an average of how long they expect you to keep the car. It's a way to advertise a low cost of ownership. Actual factory interval is 105k, so "lifetime" for most buyers. Blue coolant will last to 105k, I wouldn't worry about having it changed out. Or just wait until...

I don't often listen to the radio, but it was on this morning and I noticed this happening.

I use Motul 8100 5W-30 (after I passed 10k) IMHO, as far as brands go, if you do 5k oil changes or less, all the quality brands are going to hold up and perform similarly. Oil weights are more nuanced. There's some good threads on that here.

I'm from Rhode Island. I'm not free Sunday but a cars and coffee meet up sometime sounds good. I hardly ever see Z's around here.
