The OEM Panasonic batteries in the NA and MB MX5 (Miata) were renowned for lasting 10-15 years plus. We are 12 years in on our Skoda Octavia vRS wagon and had our first battery change 2 years ago. My old RS3 also was 8 years on the original battery when I traded it on the Z.

Not sure if you are trolling or not given the image but in any case you have two options... 1. Never drive it if you want to hold as an investment for 20-30 years. 2. Drive it and enjoy it. These aren't exotics... if that tiny infinitesimal mark is upsetting then it's going to get a lot worse...
