I found out it's not just Texas, most of the smaller dealers that are lucky enough to get their hands on a C8 are letting them go for MSRP and upwards of "only" <10k over

Basically this is the beginning of everything else going back to normal, the C8 was the first car to skyrocket - it's only fitting that it's the first one to go back to normal

so i saw a Z for the first time in real life. i was headed to dallas on I-20 and i spotted a white one outside of fort worth.

we were in heavy traffic and i could not get close to it...of course i was in the slowest lane lol. there was no spoiler, so guessing it was a sport.

was that anyone here?

ugh. It’s a sin how long you have to sit in traffic on 45 there. I was passing through Houston last month and it took me 2 Hours to get through that god forsaken city. Literally sitting on the freeway . 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back…wasted. in Houston ….sorry, if anyone’s from Houston

As of now, yes. I can't justify buying a Z over a MR with 100 more horses and a much better V8 sound when the prices are about the same (used C8s are at 70k now and will hit ~60k, soon)

Trying to get the DP together for an Apt. complex before I buy a toy however.

Do any of you guys know what the Proto that was sitting at Clear Lake Nissan with $25k added on sold for? It was at the dealer for a few weeks. When I initially expressed interest, the marketing person sent many texts trying to get me to come in. After several rejections from me, they finally stopped. The last time I checked there was a little mileage on the car. No telling how the dealer personnel & test drivers drove it before it sold.

When I purchase a new car, I like to see mileage at 10-20. That way at least I know that it has not been driven all over town. With the Z being a shiny new toy and a hot rod, I have concerns when there is mileage on it. I know how friends who own a Chevy dealer in Houston drive the Vetts when one comes in they use for a few days.

People need to understand the EV is nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with making money
