If for some reason any of you folks are unfamiliar with Z1, get familiar. They are the leading aftermarket manufacturer when it comes to the Z platform (VQ or VR in general). I believe at least 4 of them are their shop cars.

They're already offering some nice aftermarket stuff, expect much more soon.

Great when are the customers getting them? you only need 1 for aftermarket parts, yet they have 4 blows my mind what is nissan doing
Don't know, maybe a strongly worded letter to Nissan's PR team will speed up customer deliveries. šŸ¤£

Otherwise you're gonna be waiting to get one unless you pay over MSRP or have a close relationship with a dealer.

Iā€™d say atleast 2 is warranted for aftermarket R&D; auto and manual, one of each trim.

They posted on FB at one point that their manual Z Sport is basically a test bed for pushing performance limits, and the black auto Z Perf ā€œrepresents the average enthusiast carā€. So multiple cars sounds like allows them to develop parts for a wider range of consumers

Whatā€™s the pointā€¦if customers canā€™t get them, there are no cars to mod.
Seems pretty pointless exercise to be excessive to me

My guess would be R&D & testing various builds takes time; Even if thereā€™s not a huge customer base (yet), better to be ahead of the curve than playing catch-up when these cars finally start selling in real volumes.

Also seeing aftermarket companies pushing performance limits keeps interest alive, at least for me it does šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

The customers waiting on a carā€¦or a company run for a profit?
