I imagine if you're posting this you probably already know how much a set of those typically costs as factory option for other vehicles, correct?

Ya they are ridiculously expensive, maybe an add on option like the Audi RS3 or just for promo hype purposes...

Ceramic? - No....those are just the normal R35 Brakes. The R35 uses conventional materials. Full-floating two-piece rotors, The outer rotor is cast iron and the hub is aluminum. The pads are also conventional materials.

You'll find the R35 brakes on the Version S (Sport) and the Nismo (when it comes)

It absolutely will not have carbon ceramic brakes lol. Putting brakes that cost 1/4 of the car would be a horrible idea. And the leaked production cars already confirmed it'll be getting the same 4 piston Akebonos that the current 370Z uses.

The base model gets those and top trim gets Brembo’s.

This is still speculation regardless of what anyone on the forum said. Nissan hasn't official said or released info on the production car itself yet.

6 piston Brembos for a 400HP car? That's pretty overkill. The Nismo I could see having 6 piston but not the regular Z or "sport" model. Even the Q60 Red Sport has 4 pistons.

Thats probably for the Proto only.
The leaked images for the Z looks like steels.
If anything we might see it for the Nismo
