Z on cover of Consumer Reports 2022 Auto Issue magazine

Don’t know where else to put this (maybe we make a press coverage mega thread once reviews start rolling in?) but saw it at Publix (grocery store for those unfamiliar) while checking out.

Didn’t have time to open it up and see what they said, but interesting to see it on the cover. Gonna try next time I’m there, but heads up to anyone else who might have more time to scope it. Kind of regret not just buying it at this point, lol. May go back tomorrow

Kind of ironic because they will have absolutely nothing new to say about the car - no review, no reliability data. Clearly a marketing gimmick.

I agree, it’s definitely made for the masses, but I was surprised more than anything to see it being promoted on the cover.

Don't waste any money buying the Consumer Reports Auto April 2022 magazine. I downloaded the PDF, skimmed through it and did a search for "Nissan Z", which returned a whole three results ... one on the cover above, and two in this pointless "review" on page 75 ...

Wow. Nothing says reputable like publishing reliability and satisfaction scores before the cars release
