Not worried about police pull over. But I know 5 percent too dark. Is 20 or 35 all around or 20 in back and 35 on sides ???

I'd like the rear glass tinted to blend in with the black roof but also not look mismatched with the side glass. Definitely not after the ghetto look so will go for 35% all round.

check your local laws.
i know in texas 25% is max on front side windows...so 35-50 would blend good

Question is will 35 blend with roof. Or 20?

25 is just perfect . 35 isn’t bad as I have the in my Q50. Wish I went a bit darker

I did 20% (sides/rear) on my Brilliant silver 370z, and it was perfect, so I'm shooting for same on new Z. 35% was slightly too light for me, but on my black s4, 35% ceramic 99% UV protection etc (sides/rear) is really good too

If you aren't worried about legality then just do 20 all the way around. I have 20 on the rear/rear sides and it looks pretty dark from a distance and is harder to see in the car from outside, but not too dark when inside the car.

I usually tell the shop to give me the darkest I can get without getting pulled over.
