UK 400z Need help with Digital cluster/combination meter MPH

Hi all

I'm Chang from the united kingdom, I've recently imported a 2023 JDM Fair lady Z/ 400Z, I call it the Blue beetle. Its the first one in Europe. In order to get it registered in the UK roads, it must display MPH digital cluster/ combination meter, unfortunately the JDM model does not have that function, The USA/Canadian/Australian, models do have a function from KMH to MPH. The Zs are fitted with wireless and usb update software and road maps, I have ideas that might work need help and info.

1. Is there a software update page to download to usb ?

2 Im looking to purchase a Digital clock /combination meter, any you guys know wrecking yard do pm me.

I have pick of my JDM software, need help to update my cluster to USA spec. help me register it.

I can't answer your questions, but I just want to make the following two un-related comments:

1.) As an American owner, I am intensely jealous of your console buttons written in Kanji.

2.) Why in the seven hells do they match a red interior accent with a blue exterior paint job? It should *always* be blue to blue, red to red, or red/blue to neutral (white/grey/black). I just don't get it.

The USA/Canadian/Australian, models do have a function from KMH to MPH.

I believe the USA models display MPH as the main unit for speed and KM/H in he bottom right side as secondary.

I'm not sure if Canada is the same or vice versa.
Australia/NZ models show KM/H ONLY as the unit for speed

No that anyone is aware of.
It would be highly likely this could be switched by a dealer with factory software. Finding a dealer in the UK willing to take a look would be tough I reckon.

this is probably your best bet, the displays look symmetrical and the same for left hand drive / right hand drive.

Nissan UK not very forthcoming, well I do run a workshop, mainly R35s GTRS, GR6 builds, I need a Nissan consult plus, on the workshop manual, it does say, has a option on the combination meter.

Need the USA factory Software contact Nissan USA, other options try to access the CAN Bus.

Is there any friendly Dealers, I'm sure you can upgrade using usb.
