Looking to get the nismo intakes from the dealer(wont void warranty) i know a tune is ideal to get more power efficiency out of them but is my Z going to run poorly if i install them without a tune? Thanks in advance

No. Expect it to run a little rich but the ECU will adjust over time. Also get an oil catch can. Installing CAI won't void warranty since you're not modifying the engine. A tune will probably void the engine warranty.

Catback exhaust will be better than the intakes. Intakes usually make you loose low end torque. If you're tuned they can help a bit on top end but oem intake is very efficient as is.

No, it'll just sound cooler in the cabin.

Only do a tune when you've gone full out on the intakes, DP and exhaust

I've bolded the DP because thats the last mod you'll need to do the tune for

Not really.

if you want to do ethanol, will need a flex fuel kit and a retune. Same with upgraded turbos, injectors, etc (if you wanna go that far)

Sorry, late to the party. Same question as OP but in my case Nismo CAIs and Nismo Street Exhaust. Am I still OK without a tune, as I don't plan to do lower DPs, or can I do harm over time without a tune? Also with regard to the recommendation to get an oil catch can, how is that related to a change in airflow? Or is that just a good general recommendation? Thanks!

No tune required for that setup. Oil catch is to prevent oil vapour going back through your intakes, Highly suggested
