Not really cross shopping but we are getting both. SO is selling or trading in her B7 Passat late this year or early next year for a new BRZ or 86. Right now she's leaning towards a WRB BRZ.

I'll probably end up holding out for a MY 2023 Nismo Z for myself.

Nope. Not for me. Z all the way. Can't stand the interior cheapness of the BRZ nor the exorbitant amount of road noise. People complain about the 370z having cheap quality, but its so much better then the BRZ. It was a decently fun car to drive (my brother has a BRZ), just can't live with it on day to day.

The BRZ was probably one of the most fun cars I've ever driven, I'll have to test drive the Z and the 86/BRZ.
But knowing myself.....I'm probably gonna turbo the 86/BRZ anyways so the Z just makes more sense to me

kinda like the looks of the old 86 but the new one is growing on me. they could have made it look a little more aggressive

i think the z looks better though...

If Nissan prices a 400hp Z at $35k its game over for both the 86 and Zupra.

Would be nice but doubt it would be anywhere under $40K for 400hp. My guess is $42 and up, Nismo $55 or so. Any cheaper it will surely destroy the competition.

Even if its priced at $40k it would still a better buy than the 4 banger Zupra LOL. I predict when the Z comes Toyota will pull the plug on the 4 banger Zupra.

some dealers have cutting prices of the 2.0 by $5k+ just to move them. its definitely a flop imo.
