not sure if anyone has some pics or vid of the z's reverse lights on, but if you do, can you share?

i did a quick search, but couldn't find any. i did notice in the picture below that you can make out a row of l.e.d.s at each end of the bottom of the taillight housing...

IIRC from videos I have seen the bottom LEDs are the turn signals.

so not what i thought...
those turned out (no pun intended) to be turn signals.

on a side note, i hope they are useful, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of lighting.

As everything on the car, the light output is regulated, so you'll have adequate lighting, at least.

My wife's car has LED reverse lights. Just about as small as on the Z, and at night they are about as bright as any average car. However, they seem extremely bright in the reverse camera image, I guess it has a very sensitive camera. Same on my Q60, the reverse lighting appears much stronger in the camera than when I look back old-school style.

^ They certainly look a bit hopeless in the video and the photo. :(
But I have noticed that LED lights are always particularly bad on camera.

Here's the rear fog lamp illumination in different markets.

Just saw this going on the facebook post. I thought I'd add what I found out too.

Apparently the Canadian cars get the rear fog lamp. Reverse light on the right, fog on the left.
And here's the difference in the stalk (Also appears as though we do not have the position to turn the headlamps in the OFF position. Auto is the only selection. Which is kind of good, because a ton of people never turn their lights on at night haha)

I think the image posted on FB could be reversed because of the camera phone or maybe it allows you to switch sides.
