So I'm guessing the Z will maintain the double-A arms for front and multi-link rear, like the GT-R. I think if the Z change to "McPherson strut design", that would be very problematic for a lot of people.

The suspension is re-worked. The shocks and springs are re-worked, and it's not just valving. The dimensions have changed.

The car is 85% new. I really wouldn't be concerned. Remember.....this is being tuned by the legend himself who literally cheated physics with the R35.

Does anyone know if Matsuda or any other professional race driver was involved in the chassis tuning (shock valving, springs, mounting points, etc) of the new Z, similar to what Senna did with the gen 1 NSX? I'm hoping any snap oversteer is eliminated esp. with the 400hp on tap. @Dan_Passe

Nice pics! Those with a 370Z, any difference in the suspension mounting points? LCAs look identical.

Only difference I see is that everything is painted black, likely for show purposes, I'd expect it to all be bare aluminum for production.

I'm surprised that Nissan has yet to release any spec diagrams, half cuts, etc.

Do we know if we will have the same R200 from the 370? Having a bazillion differential options (including complete pumpkins) available at launch will be nice for those of us eyeing the base model 👀
