Finally got around to doing this. Took about 15 minutes. The adhesive on the Fairlady Z badge is really good. Removing the usdm Z badge was a cinch. A little fishing wire and a bit of goo gone and it was off without a trace. It's pretty sunny out so I didn't need a heat gun. All in all, the new badge is beautiful. I didn't think the black would go well with Rosewood Metallic but man was I wrong 😍😍😍

Ordered mine today
I used a leveler to make sure the Z was flush with the ground. The fairlady part is intentionally not straight. The usdm Z came off super easily. What color did you get? Can't wait to see it.

Diamond Black I think the fairlady will look really stealth

I would have been fearful of the Goof Off damaging the paint, but it looks like it worked well for you. Looks really cool. It will be interesting to see what people are doing to their Z's as more come available. The ideas and what has worked and not worked will be great info for everyone. Thanks for sharing and everyone keep the info coming.

Looks great! I’m having mine placed at an angle on the top of the rear deck on the right! Got mine for $60.00 original new stock 😊
