Title says it.. at just under 4k RPM under load I get a "zzzzzz" noise for a brief second. It's cringy.
Anyone else have this with the rear diff install? I saw a post from a while back but couldn't find it again that had mentioned something similar.

Anyone know of a fix?

Where did everyone else install the sensor cable? The Z1 bracket looked like a trap to break my sensor connector.

I have the whining noise after install. I personally love it as it reminds me of a straight cut gear transmission. My sensor wire bracket fit up perfectly. The noise is coming from the upper brace mount as it is direct metal on metal to the subframe. I would say to minimize the noise install some kind of rubber washer or something between the Z1 collar upper nut and the subframe, should kill some of the noise or change the frequency.

I don't get the straight-cut gear noise, only the buzz at that RPM.

I thought about adding some sort of dampening but there's some pretty serious physics going on with that bolt & nut.
Maybe a rubber gromet where the washer mounts?

The bracket for the sensor fit great, but it looked like it was going to be crushed the first time the suspension flexed. Maybe that bit moves in concert with the part I expected to crush the sensor?
Thanks for the shot of confidence for the z1 sensor mount bracket.

When I first got my Z I noticed some metal buzzing when the exhaust was cold, before installing the diff brace. I'd check for any loose bolts/nuts or connections.
