OK, I'm fairly certain this is the same colour I was considering wrapping my 180SX kouki. I took an A5 midnight purple swatch/sample (LP2) with me to compare when I went to the company that was doing the wrap. The vinyl wrap was a lighter shade than Midnight Purple, so much so I didn't go ahead with it, but I was looking for a 100% match.

Personally not a fan of blacking out the katana. It does a good job breaking up the roof line. Roof looks too thick without IMO.

this is only reason i would buy a black Z...even though i said i'd never buy a black vehicle after owning two

I think the only color that really pulls off a black hood is a white car. The black and white contrast looks good imo.
