Nissan Z Upgraded Backup Camera

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a quick update on an RZ34 rearview camera upgrade that I’ve been offering to the Z community.

Over the past several months, I’ve shipped upgraded cameras to 60+ Z owners, and I just finished shipping out my latest batch of 55 cameras.
I currently have 23 additional Z owners already lined up for another batch, which should be available around mid-September. Before I place the next order, I wanted to see if there are any other Z owners here who might be interested.
The upgraded camera makes a really noticeable difference, especially at night. The image is significantly brighter and clearer in low-light situations, while also being sharper during the day.

Upgraded Camera
• 1280×960 resolution (1.2MP)
• 140° horizontal / 80° vertical viewing angle
• 1/3” HD CMOS sensor
• 0.001 lux low-light sensitivity

OEM Camera
• 632×480 resolution (300k pixels)
• 140.5° horizontal / 95.5° vertical viewing angle
• 1/4” CMOS sensor
• 1 lux low-light sensitivity

No cutting or splicing wires
Approximately 10-minute installation
Uses the factory location and connections

I originally started doing these because I wanted a better camera for my own Z. It kind of grew from there, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of Z owners trust me with their cars.

I’m also starting to shift some of my focus toward the Nissan Frontier community. We’re currently testing a camera prototype for the Frontier, and there has been a lot of interest over there.

So I’m not sure how many more Z batches I’ll be doing this year, but I wanted to give the Z community a chance to get on the list before I place the next order.
