NISMO shows off updated Nissan Z Racing Concept

Never realized until seeing this closeup shot that they actually replaced a section of the fascia with a vented surface but left the original structure/shape of the grille intact

Makes it appear as less of hack job than simply cutting off pieces of bumper lol

here is the two GT4s compared. both will be racing this weekend in the same race. the #230 car will be on carbon neutral fuel though

The change in grille shape makes me realize what it is about the front end I didn’t like. Wasn’t sure if it was the headlights or the grille but without the rectangle grille the headlights really stand out in their shape especially in the yellow. The new Z looks fantastic but the front end lacks aggression. I would hope that Twinz design or Nismo fix this. Although it looks more likely that the new Nismo will look more similar to the new GTR than compared to the Jaguar.
