Prototype reveal or Production car reveal? Video says Nissan Z "Proto". Either way still hyped!

Well that's unfortunate. Maybe there is some truth to the 2023 rumor then.

At least we'll have something to look at soon enough.

Prototype is probably really close to Pre-production. Showing it now fits with a production start date of 9/21.

^ That render is off in several areas. The front fascia may have airducts, The side-skirts are not as pronounced. The side mirrors are appear to be door mounted and have a different shape. The render is using the shape from the 350Z mirrors.

This one makes it look too thick. Nissan teaser shows a slimmer (better IMO) profile.

Completely agree. We need someone with skills to take the above photo, then render from that.

100%. The actual car is less bulky than some of the renderings.

Completely agree. Most of these renderings are taking liberties with the actual proportions of the car.

The one above is the only one that is really showing what the car could look like properly because it's taking the actual screenshot'd car and layering on top.

I’m kind of thinking this car is going to be very simple looking. The 370z made the 350 look dated. But not sure this time around. It really won’t matter to me. I want the VR30DDTT. Which is beyond a good base for this car. The rest I can always improve on anyways to make it my own. But I do hope it looks like this site pic above.

The 240 is also a simple elegant design. Same with a 911. I take that all day over an over design like the Supra

^ That is a fantastic design, dare I say very likely better than the real thing.

However the front fascia is probably not going to be as retro as this render. And the side mirrors are not as sleek.

Also the rear wheel arch, ends before the door. In the render it goes on.

Finally, the front wheel arches in the render are also too sculpted. The real thing looks less muscular.
