My day at VIR with team NISMO

Had the opportunity to attend the GT4 event at my home track of VIR and spend some time with NISMO Japan representatives and the Z NISMO GT4 race teams .

Flying Lizard Z picked up 2 podiums and had a good time talking to Damir Hot and Rogrido Baptista

Really didn't pay attention to the other cars there but sweet Jesus I had never seen one in person

Interesting to see air to air intercoolers on the race cars. Possibly to reduce weight and complexity.

Two class podiums for that team on Saturday so it was good luck . Both flying lizard drivers were really cool and I spent a lot of time in their pits . The Pro Batista used to drive GT3 for Bentley and the Amateur Damir Hot is a Canadian Tech Start up guy. He was super nice. He said one of the team members just has the idea to wrap the katana like that and it turned out great

Sounds like a bast! That's event sounds so cool. I might have to look into doing something similar, that is such an awesome idea. Though would have to wonder if it would look silly on a non-decal'd race car. Maybe if I got the color of the handle wrap on the decal to match my rosewood like they did with the red... Something to think about.
