Most 1975 and older do not need smog (emissions) testing, exempt. Anything newer must be compliant, or trailered in as non-operational or track only.

I’ve registered for the event.

Many Cars n Coffee meets with classics, why even discuss emissions, we have the cutoff year after all. Enjoy the shows.

OK guys, great day at JCCS. I was able to get up close to this new Z. Also talked with Jonathan and another Nissan rep, easy access since I got there early to stage my car.

Per Jonathan, I asked about suspension details, specifically mounting points. He said the underlying structure is still 370Z but the tuning (shocks, springs) have been optimized. I also asked about the rear wheel well space, said you could possibly fit 295s or even 305s. Also pointed out the dual oil coolers (hope this is correct) at lower section of the grille.

Per the Nissan rep, I asked about the Boulder Gray, he said it's already out in other products, pointing to the Pro-4X Frontier across the way. I still like that tint, no blue but more like cement or slate.

Rob Fuller of ZCar Garage was also there, picked his brain for my S30, very informative straight up guy. Brake upgrades to come.

Let me know those familiar with 370Z underpinnings if any of these pics show any differences.

Notice how different lighting hits the Boulder Gray on this Frontier

Mine on street Watanabes (16x9 and 9.5). They were offering 50% off on onsite orders, great deal! But...no sizing for the new Z or any 19" for that matter, bummed! Largest they offer for ordering is 18x7.5 for $385 already discounted.
