But how you ask? When Hotchkis hasn't even released a bar for the RZ34....well, in a not so accidental turn of events, it just so happens that you should be able to directly bolt on any current aftermarket sway bar from the 370z to the RZ34. No tricks, just simply disconnect, remove the old bar and install the Hotchkis in it's place.

This is arguably the best off the shelf bar you can buy for the Z34 and so far it feels much better on the new Z. Body roll has been reduced greatly, steering feels a little heavier than before but in a good way. It feels more like the 370z did with it's hydraulic power steering and I feel like I am getting more feedback through the front axle than I did with the OEM bar. Coilover install is next in line!

The Z1s that I bought for my 2024 Z performance are the same as the ones for my 370Z. Front/Rear are different than OEM. Front-only is a bad idea IMHO as it then makes the roll different front vs back leading to serious oversteer.

You'd probably be surprised if I told you that it is common practice for Z34s setup for the track/road courses to completely remove the rear sway bar or to replace it with something slightly stiffer than the OEM one but much softer than the aftermarket ones.

Running a Hotchkis rear bar even at it's softest settings has been known to induce snap oversteer, which is why we tend to run a soft rear bar or no rear bar at all.

The new Z chassis much like the 370z suffers from understeer built in due to the staggered wheels, the tires, the sway bar, soft suspension and of course the weight at the front of the car. So even if you eliminate one of those variables and introduce a little bit of oversteer it's far from being a problem, if anything it's a subtle improvement.

Adding a stiffer front bar will not cause oversteer. If anything it would increase understeer. Suspension is complex and confusing. With a lot of suspension tuning you have to pretend it’s Opposite Day! 😆
