HKS, the legendary Japanese tuning company, has released two new exhaust systems for the new Nissan Z; the Full Dual Muffler system and Super Turbo Muffler system. Both of these performance exhausts are constructed of SUS304 stainless steel with titanium tips for that iconic pop of burnt blue color. The systems also feature a full dual layout that separates both engine cylinder banks, reducing exhaust pulse interference and improving exhaust gas flow.

The Full Dual Muffler system is the more aggressive of the two exhaust systems, and it offers a 2-Way Sound System enabling the user to change the sound of the exhaust. By swapping the included lids or pipes, the exhaust note can be changed between a more comfortable sound with the lids affixed, or a more aggressive sound using the tail pipes. In addition to improved flow characteristics, HKS's Full Dual Muffler is 13% lighter than the stock exhaust, providing performance gains from weight savings.

For a more comfortable, refined exhaust note that doesn't sacrifice performance, the Super Turbo Muffler system uses an optimized silencer and silent chamber to achieve a more neutral tone during normal driving. HKS's "Slotted Tail" tip design further hones the sound by reducing the air friction and resulting vibrations as the exhaust gas escapes the system. This allows for a finely-tuned resonance inside and outside of the vehicle.

HKS specializes in aftermarket high-performance auto parts engineering and manufacturing. It is one of the most well-known aftermarket brands in the world. Formed in 1973, and named after founders Hasegawa, Kitagawa, and Sigma, HKS began with a vision to tune and manufacture high-performance engine components and turbo kits that surpass OE manufacturers. While its roots are in turbocharger systems, the company currently manufactures high-quality products for various areas of vehicle modification including suspension, tuning, exhaust, and supercharger kits.

Features:

  • Exhaust pressure reduced by 40percent compared to stock
  • Ground clearance is unaffected
  • 60.5mm pipe diameter (compared to stock 45mm)
  • Constructed of SUS304 stainless steel with titanium tips
Fitment:
  • 2023+ Nissan Z VR30DDTT (RZ34)

I like the product but for that price it should include valves to operate it from within the car.
I realize there are development costs but this is out of control for a car at this price point.

It's definitely expensive but the manual way of adjusting means it will last forever instead of having something electricly operated that will fail at some point in time. Just don't lose the caps...
