Ya, gonna pass. I need a company with good history of quality coilovers.
If your interested in the JDM market, Blitz and HKS released their respective coilovers.

Both are well known for their coilovers and reputation.

The basic Blitz ZZ-R's are 231,000yen
Lead times are probably going to be long so keep that in mind.

Anyone have experience with the coilovers that swap out separate rear springs with true coilovers? Seems that the higher end coilovers still keep the separate spring config. Curious how or if it affects the suspension performance. I guess 370z or Q60 owners would have gone through this.

Are they expensive?
Well kind of yes, but they last, did many adjustments while had mine several years tracking. Depends what your purpose is, if mainly looks then no need to go this route, lots of more reasonable ones out there, check reviews. Check how easy to adjust them, some need dismounts, not convenient. Then some have damping adjustments (compression, rebound) could be tough to set up. Good luck!

Check out Tein, Feal, Bilstein.....

Thanks! You seem to know your coilovers. This area im working on to get more knowledge of. So much goes into suspension and many factors like camber, alignments (if needed) to consider when touching suspension. Trying to learn what things to consider when doing coilovers. I see people changing other parts along with coilovers. So is it true you need an alignment after? Do you recommend other parts to get?

my goal is the look of lowering but I also want the car to handle better on turns. Long term goal is to drag too and maybe track 1-2x a year for fun. Short term , just to for spirited runs.

In Canada the KW v3’s are CAD$3,249.00 I’ve been looking at them.
Im not going to be a hardcore track guy. So, as good as they appear, may not be for me.
